Presumably Trump is attacking projects that enhance privacy along with other open source projects. How does this realistically affect the future and security of open source projects?
I imagine that countries with strong privacy laws will pick up the torch.
Does TOR get government funding? I guess I’d be more surprised to find them - or any OSS - getting funding from the US gov. EU governments, sure.
