I bought a PS5 and had a gaming PC (with outdated specs) and they were collecting dust for years.

Then on the whim I got the steam deck. Since then I’ve been gaming more.

I love how I can lounge around and play.

Sitting in front of my PC was always a chore as I already work 9-5 at a desk.

Starting up the PS5 is more fun but I’m sick of them charging an arm and a leg for games.

I kept getting sucked into the AAA games and followed the hype, buying it at full price at launch, then ending up disappointed that I wasted $70 on a game.

No fuck that, I’m done being convinced by my friends to jump on the bandwagon.

With the Steam summer sale, I can get so many games for just a few dollars. For the price of a yearly gamepass subscription, I can get so many games with $240 or whatever the fuck it is.

I’m officially adopting the patient gamer mindset. There are too many good, older games that are heavily discounted, I don’t care if I’m lagging behind 5-10 years.

Fuck paying $70 for a game. I paid $4 for Skyrim while most fools paid full price for it at launch.
