Please check the wiki and your local osm community before doing any mass imports. Not gatekeeping, but often this can lead to conflicting/duplicate entries, tagging at odds with consensus, licensing issues etc.

Best start with small scale surveys/local knowledge stuff and if you’ve gotten your hands on datasets for importing, reach out e.g. on the forums or local in person meetings too discuss how to proceed.
