What is stopping people from bringing RISC-V to the desktop now? Major distros already support it and you can run x86 programs with box64.
What is not fast enough then?

e/OS is also android based, the allure for me of something like postmarket that its just normal linux but in your pocket.
I would assume so, Its probably only broken when using a linux distro like postmarket and not the stock android it comes with.
I hoped this was a linux phone where all the features just worked but sadly not.

Audio
Status : Broken No driver for the audio codec yet. No internal speaker or microphone is currently working. You can get all sounds via Bluetooth or USB peripherals.
That’s a shame :(
Indeed, i chose this route because i traveled it quite often.
I used google flights and NS international to find the ticket prices, the price of €301 was listed as the cheapest direct flight.
I was wondering what the prices would be so here are some numbers:
Booking 1 week in advance on the 20th, Amsterdam Schiphol - Paris Charles de Gaulle 1 way trip.
Flying: €301 for the cheapest direct flight, 1h 20m.
Train: €132 for the cheapest direct train, 3h 09m
So it takes far longer but is far cheaper too, results are about what i expected.
A digital euro that requires no banks or payment processors definitely has a use. It’s all the benefits of cryptocurrency but with the backing of a central bank.
I’m really hyped for this but in typical EU fashion it’s taking years.
Can highly recommend kdenlive
Well yes the peformance ceraintly hasn’t caught up yet to x86 but the strongest riscv cpu on the market as far as I know has 64 cores on 2ghz. More then enough to run a desktop.
