I feel like I have to disagree with the title and arrangement of the article as these Linux distros have been around for quite a longer time period than Snapdragon X hardware.

At this point I feel that it’s part of the hardware’s manufacturers responsibility to pay and work with the distro developers to get the desired distros working on their new hardware especially since most distros just work on x86_64 laptops nowadays.

• Sure the banks will get paid but all the impacted managers, employees, and related staff all these people who have bills to pay now will not be able to readily pay them back because they likely won’t be paid.

This infuriates me in two ways.

Several hundreds of thousands of innocent people will likely be negatively impacted for the benefit of a corrupt few.

Fuck zero-sum systems man. This is honestly why we’re still in a pointlessly tragic dystopian society.
