Still a lot. I have to say my cost was before the “recent” hikes. Though my house doesn’t share walls either.

I’ve got solar with net metering. But apparently I leave in a much gentler environment still, compared to you. Got a small house (<150sqm), winters reach -20°C and have sustained -10°C for multiple weeks and yet the bill hasn’t reached past 1400€/mo before solar panels. Everything in the house is runs on electricity.
Sure, but I’m trying to see it from a manufacturer’s perspective. They’ve got to put effort in an OS regardless, so maybe it wouldn’t be too much extra effort, if any, to have Grapehene supported.
Now if only they’d support Graphene OS or something like that. Preferably signed, so that banking apps would have a chance of working.
In the long run bonus - Linux support would be nice too.
Not where I live. By far. Not to mention that it doesn’t even cover winter months at all. Battery or no battery it doesn’t cover even the usage most of the time when the sun is out, let alone charge the battery.
Edit: care to explain the downvote?
Exactly that. My worst case winter month (not even by day and I like to be warm every day) is generating less than 25% of consumption. Not that other winter months are much better.

Unfortunately consoles and phones tend to be exempt. For what reason other than lobbying I do not know.
I access my stuff via VPN. As for sharing with others, I simply don’t do that. VPN is still an option though. Or temporary client whitelisting, etc.
Here’s an idea. How about we zap the drivers after they make a turn if they didn’t use a turn signal beforehand? 😀
In my experience it only works well for 10-15 minutes. Then it needs a reconnect. Kind of same with the native app.
Not sure what’s with the downvotes, but I’ve had the same problem for quite a while. Especially after sleep to be precise. It also tends to eat up the battery quite a bit.
